Yasmin pill; i dont undetstand it?

i start my periods tomorrow (wednesday) and i dont know which pill to take? it says start in the green area, but that doesnt make any sense why would i be taking the orange pills when i have my period? which pill do i take, the ones on the top row or the sugar ones at the bottom?
