Stupid nicknames.....................…

my new boyfriend is calling me these ridiculous little nicknames (pumpkin, sweetie, tink) and i think it's cute, but also a little embarring. i tell him to shut up, he's embarring me but he just threatens to say it louder. is this not as big of a deal as i think? does anyone else get called nicknames and like it?
