Can I change my pickups on my Stratocaster?

I have a Squier Affinity Strat with 3 single coil pickups. I was wanting to know if it is able to have a humbucker installed, because I like to play hard rock music and it makes a lot of annying buzzing sounds when i try to play heavy, and I already have Boomers installed on them instead of the standard gauged strings. thanks for any help :)
