How To Make A Girl YOur Best Friend/Close Friend?

I have this friend of mine, she's in the 8th grade, and im 2 years older than her, in other words im in the 10th grade, i know her through playing basketball, honestly, she tought me how to really play, hehehe..... now i find her so fun that i just wanna make her my best or close friend so we can like hang out some times, like go to the mall and stuff, but its so hard for me, because she has so many boys around her, and i cant actually get close to girls, so if anyone can help, please respond, i need your help...... thnx
